Medical Laboratory Technology is an umbrella field comprising many critical roles. Medical Lab
Technician plays a dynamic role in comprehensive health system by performing diagnostic tests,
ruling out the provisional diagnosis of the physician, detecting diseases, regulating therapy and
treatment. As a part of this course, the trainee learns to perform various tests on body fluids and other specimens with accuracy, handling of advanced instruments, quality control and validation of the results. They would function as a vital and crucial member of healthcare team. Modern medicine stands tall on the shoulders of medical lab technology.
