 
															
									
DDU-GKY stands for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, which is a government initiative in India focused on skilling and placement for rural youth. It aims to reduce poverty and provide gainful employment to rural youth, particularly those aged 15-35. The program is part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and is implemented through a three-tiered structure.

						Mandatory RequirementsThe program mandates that 33% of the trainees be women and that 50% of the funds are earmarked for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
